Important information about the guides, calculators and other content on this website, and about the services we provide.
General information only
The articles, guides, glossary, FAQs, tax calendar and calculators on this website are provided for general information. They summarise the law and practice as we understand them on the date shown, and they are not a substitute for professional advice on your specific circumstances.
The law changes
Tax, corporate, employment and data protection law in Pakistan, the UAE, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia changes often — through new legislation, finance acts, regulations, notifications, circulars and court decisions. Authorities also extend deadlines from time to time. Always confirm the current position, or speak to us, before you act.
Calculators
Our calculators give estimates based on the rates and assumptions stated with them. Your actual liability can differ because of other income, exemptions, credits, withholding and changes in the law. They are for guidance only.
Professional services
Veridian Partners Consultancy (Private) Limited is a multi-practice professional services company. We do not perform statutory audits. In Pakistan, statutory audits under the Companies Act, 2017 are carried out by chartered accountants and audit firms registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan; in other jurisdictions they are carried out by locally registered auditors. Our work in this area covers internal audit, risk and controls reviews, audit readiness, due diligence and forensic reviews. Any professional service we provide is governed by a written engagement agreement.
Cross-border work
We advise on Pakistan, the UAE (including DIFC and ADGM), the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia from our head office in Karachi, and we have no offices outside Pakistan. Where local regulation requires a licensed professional — for example a registered auditor, a registered tax agent or an advocate before a court — that part of the work is carried out by, or coordinated with, appropriately licensed professionals in that jurisdiction, as agreed in the engagement letter.
Software
Veridian E-invoicing Pakistan implements FBR's Digital Invoicing requirements as we understand them at the time of each release. Each business remains responsible for its own tax affairs and for the accuracy of the data it enters.
No liability
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for any loss arising from reliance on the information on this website.
